WHITNEY SOLDATI

Whitney has been dancing since she could walk, doing tap, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop. She trained under the direction of Georgia Peck as well as Brandy Stiles in Bakersfield, CA. She has taken classes from Mia Michaels, Dee Caspary, Marguerite Derricks, Liz Ferri, and friend Tiler Peck, traveling from California to New York.

Whitney has competed in dance since age six at various competitions in California and Nevada and has gone to national competitions numerous times. Showstoppers, LA Dance Magic, New York City Dance Alliance, Star Power, West Coast Dance Explosion, Dance Rave, etc.

In addition to being involved at the local dance studio where she grew up, Whitney has also taken classes in the Southern California area at The Performing Arts Center, The Edge, Debbie Reynolds Studio, etc. Whitney was signed with a dance agency, in Burbank, CA, "Clear Talent" for several years in her youth which allowed her to work with many choreographers.

Whitney was selected to be a member of Team Rave LA which allowed her to perform at numerous venues and charity events, under the direction of Liz Ferri.

Whitney was a member of the Chico State Dance Team, "Expressions". She was also a Student Director for Chico Dance Theater and Teacher Assistant for the Seminar in Choreography course with Dr. Sue Pate for two semesters at Chico State. Her specialization is in shape and movement, production, and Musical Theater performance. Whitney attended Chico State from 2005-2009. Whitney has taught dance since age 16, as well as choreographed dances for Heritage Christian Academy, Centennial High School, and Chico State dance and acting programs.

Whitney and her husband, Steve, moved to Elk Grove in 2010. Whitney is currently in grad school at Sacramento State.
