ADAM PETERSON

Adam Peterson was born and raised in Sacramento, California. From age 4 to 13 he studied Kotaka-Ha Shito-Ryu with IKF Sacramento. Adam began his dance training at Sheldon High School and later at Elite Studio of Dance in Elk Grove, California. He continued his artistic education with Alonzo King LINES BFA at Dominican University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with his Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2011. In 2008 Adam was invited to.perform alongside LINES Ballet for their Fall home season. Adam has worked closely with with Kara Davis, performing as part of her San Francisco based Project Agora. He has also performed works by Jose Limon, Yannis Adoniou, Christian Burns, Gregory Dawson, Arturo Fernandez, Mark Foehringer, Maurya Kerr, Manuelito Biag,KT Nelson, Nathan Trice and Alex Ketley. He is faculty/guest choreographer at Alonzo King LINES Ballet School Summer and BFA programs, and is currently performing with Maurya Kerr's tinypistol.
